2015 ROCKSTAR MAYHEM FEST ADMAT LEAKS AND THE LINEUP RUMORS GET CONFIRMED

2015 ROCKSTAR MAYHEM FEST ADMAT LEAKS AND THE LINEUP RUMORS GET CONFIRMED

Festival season is a bit of a sacred time of year for music fans, and the time leading up to them is just as significant. It’s the time when there’s a lot of hype surrounding the potential lineups of everyone’s respective festivals. Mayhem fest isn’t an exception to this, and has always been a fairly sacred tradition in the loud rock community, and has always brought together all kinds of different fans with an extensive lineup. As the festival fast approaches, people are feeling a mighty thirst to get a glimpse of that elusive lineup which could spell a potentially amazing show, or an absolutely awful one.

Theprp is such a site that has been pretty regularly releasing ‘credible rumors’ about the potential lineup for Mayhem Fest, although the term ‘credible rumors’ is kind of nebulous. On March 14th, they announced a list of potential headliners as credible rumors, and on the 18th, listed a few more smaller acts that would make up the announced 13 artists that would be playing.

Now, on the 19th, the following Admat was leaked, pretty much confirming all of the websites rumors:

Although the lineup may be a bit convoluted, here it is in a nice, headliners first, list form:

Slayer
King Diamond
HELLYEAH
The Devil Wears Prada

Victory Records stage:

Whitechapel
Thy Art Is Murder
Jungle Rot
Sister Sin
Sworn In
Shattered Sun
Feed Her To The Sharks
Code Orange
Kissing Candice

Is this the official lineup for Mayhem Fest this year? Well, the internet’s collective photoshop skills seem to suddenly improve when there’s potential to trick people of something that isn’t true, but at least for now, it seems fairly legitimate. As always, seeing Slayer on any lineup is a welcome sight, King Diamond always puts on an amazing performance, and HELLYEAH being a headliner is definitely a welcome sight to say the least. Of course, these may easily be refuted on April 13th when Rockstar officially announces the lineup, and we have once again fallen for an internet ruse, but for now, it all looks very official. Why not trust it??

It’s also interesting to note that tickets will go on sale on April 17th, according to the Admat, so be prepared.
