Faith No More, the legendary loud rock outfit from the 90s broke up awhile ago, to the despair of many. The band was a pioneer in aggressive music, that combined elements from tons of different musical styles into one cohesive sound. Back in 2009, the band actually got back together for touring, and now, the band has announced that they’re releasing an album in May of this year! A couple months ago, we were even teased with the single Motherfucker, which made for an impressive return to form from the band, as well as an awesome single to release on Record Store Day’s black Friday sale. The song was also their first new release since 1997’s Album of the Year.
Here’s the single to refresh your memory:
Now, however, to further promote the new album, the band has announced that they will be releasing another single, Superhero. On top of that, they announced their north American tour for 2015, set to kick off in April. Bass player Bill Gould commented on the tour, saying:
"Here we go, first North American tour dates, some in cities we haven't played in over 17 years.
"We are armed with the new material and ready for whatever comes our way."
