The Price is Right: it’s pretty much one of the oldest and longest running game shows of all time. It’s actually quite common to hear about celebrities who were on the show, along with other game shows, before they became famous. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Farrah Fawcett were on The Dating Game before they broke out as actors, Steve Martin was on The Gong Show playing his legendary banjo back while he was a writer, Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad was on the show, wayyyy before he would end up playing Jesse, and he was just a bit too excited to be on the show. I mean, the episode he was on aired back in 2000, meaning he was 21 at the time, which made for some hilarious clips:
But that was way before he was famous, how about some examples of people who are on the show while they’re already pretty well known? Well, that’s a bit harder to find.
This morning’s The Price is Right episode (February 10th), however, featured a pretty notable contestant. Why, it was none other than Killswitch Engage’s renowned guitar player, Adam Dutkiewicz! Although the full episode isn’t available, the most important part is. Y’know, the part where he wins $50,000 WORTH OF STUFF. You can’t help but smile as he’s winning too, as he looks absolutely ecstatic the whole time. He even says that it’s, like, the best day of his life.
You can watch the clip below:
Frontman for the band, Jesse Leach, was also instagramming during the whole event, which you can check out here. He managed to capture the perfect moment as well:
So, good work man, and congratulations on the new car and all that other shit!
