2013 and 2014 have been quite the time for band reunions and huge anniversary concerts for music ranging from emo to alternative to nu-metal!  With massive tours like the current Korn/Slipknot tour being one of the most successful in recent years, it's safe to say that (despite the haters) people still want to see nu-metal!

This especially seems to be true with a recently announced tour featuring four leviathan heavyweight legends of nu-metal.  This 2015 tour will feature Coal Chamber (now reunited with ex-bassist Nadja Peulen), Filter, American Head Charge, and Combichrist!  I mean, if you wore Jnco jeans and loved to dye your hair, this tour is going to make you cry black tears through your eyeliner!  Just look at this line-up!

Now we all know these bands grow up, mature, and change their sound, so I'm sure some fans will not like the new incarnations of all these acts, but after personally attending several Coal Chamber shows opening for Sevendust back in 2013, the scene and the concert energy is most certainly still there, perhaps louder and more crazy than ever! Getting all four of these bands on one bill as well just gives you that much more for your concert money!

Filter, we all know has a new record that dropped in 2013 called "The Sun Comes Out Tonight".  If you have not yet heard this album, it has received tons of praise and has the quintessential Filter sound, despite frontman/industrial music icon Richard Patrick being the only "original" member.  Check this song out:

Filter, like Coal Chamber, is currently hard at work on making a new record, likely due out in 2015.

The music world learned today however via Coal Chamber frontman Dez Fafara's Twitter account that the new CC album is now finished!  So any people who wondered what happened to Coal Chamber in 2013, after their tour with Sevendust need worry no more!  There IS indeed new Coal Chamber music coming!

For proof here is Dez tracking vocals for the new record:
