Korn and Slipknot have become quite close in recent years, as evidenced by the co-headlining Prepare for Hell Tour, as well as that they did last year. Corey Taylor has even said in an interview that Korn was a band that Slipknot loved, but also admired. This friendship is even further shown by a few members of Slipknot joining Korn on stage to do a cover song together. Last Friday (January 23rd), the two bands joined forces at the SSE Arena in London to a cover of... Sabotage by the Beastie Boys!! It all looked quite impressive, and admittedly, Jonathan Davis’ skirt-thing is kinda funny to look at too.
Before the show, Korn teased the potential cover on Instagram, saying that the two bands were “maybe doing a cover together in London” in a photo of the bands’ soundcheck together. The band then announced on Twitter that the whole performance would be made available online at some point in the future, along with a little teaser on Instagram:
