You may all remember an awesome viral sensation which featured "Animated Album Covers". It basically brought band's album artwork to life in a completely surreal way. After years of seeing a particular album's artwork frozen on record store shelves in still life, when you see it move.... well why don't you just see for yourself:

Are you sufficiently mesmerized now?
Well, these next brilliant creations may not move before your very eyes, but using a "crop" stylization, a UK-based agency called "Aptitude" has curated a stunning array of album covers that have been "zoomed out" to show the viewer what was REALLY going on. When you take a picture, the photographer chooses what to show and what to omit from the total frame of view.
Aptitude says about the piece:
We all have a favourite album. One that means something to us more than others. Album cover art used to be meticulously created to portray some kind of message that the band or artist was trying to convey.
But in this digital age, buying an album has become less about buying a physical package to buying a digital version out of convenience.
So in honour of a once coveted industry standard, we take a look at some of the most iconic album covers over the years and put our own spin on them by revealing ‘the bigger picture’.
